My research interests include: . How patient behaviours influence disease activity and responses to medical therapy. In particular, how adherence to prescribed treatment can modify outcomes in chronic respiratory and sleep disorders. . The use of biomarkers to guide disease management in people with difficult and severe asthma. . Real world outcomes with targeted biological therapies in severe asthma. . Interactions between sleep disorders & respiratory disease (including COVID-19) in disease outcomes and patient-reported symptom burden. . The clinical management of hitherto under-investigated sleep disorders, including Non-REM sleep parasomnias. . The use of anti-eosinophil biologic agents in the treatment of Eosinophilic Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis.
