Dr. Rozenn Dahyot

Associate Professor (Statistics)

 


Dr.Ing. Rozenn Dahyot received a BSc in Physics (1996), a MSc in Image Processing (Diplome d Etudes approfondies 1998) from the University of Louis Pasteur and a MSc from Telecom Physique Strasbourg (diplome d' ingénieur 1998, France). Supported by a scholarship (1998-2001) from the Laboratoire des Ponts et Chaussées (www.lcpc.fr), she received a PhD degree from the Université Louis Pasteur Strasbourg in 2001, developing new algorithms for robust detection and recognition of objects in road scene image databases, for the management and safety of the road network. From 2002 to 2005, she worked as a Research Fellow on several European Projects in Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) and in Cambridge University (UK). She is an associate professor in Statistics in the school of Computer Science and Statistics, and an investigator with the Adapt centre, leading several (EU, EI, SFI funded) projects in Artificial Intelligence. She is the President of the Irish Pattern Recognition and Classification Society (iprcs.org) and the general chair organizing the European signal Processing Conference in Dublin in 2021.
